“Birds and Blooms”

The Northwest Bird Club held their spring "Birds and Blooms" event February 21st at Southern Oregon Nursery which is at 2972 S. Pacific Highway in Medford from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Club members had a large number of different exotic bird species on display to the public inside "In Thee Garden", next door to the Nursery. Some birds will be for sale.

Our First Club Field Trip!!!!
All members are invited to visit Nancy Ingram’s aviary on Sunday, November 16th at 2 p.m. Nancy raises strawberry finches in a temperature controlled sun porch. (A MAP AND DIRECTIONS TO HER PLACE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER)

** NWBC ANNUAL CLUB PICNIC**

Sunday, August 10th at 1:00 pm. 2014

The picnic will be held at Sharon Holscher's house (map below). The club will provide chicken and drinks and everyone is encouraged to bring a potluck dish for all to share (please bring chair(s) if you can!) We will also be having a Raffle, so nice contributions to it would be much appreciated! If you need more information, call Sharon at (541) 826-8687. Sharon has many awesome aviaries, so it's always a treat for her to host the picnic!

The club will furnish the turkey, ham & drinks. Members need to bring potluck items to share!

After our meal we will have our annual gift exchange! Gift price - $10.00 limit. Bring a gift you think someone would like to receive.
(If you want to take a gift home you need to bring one!)
(No garage sale type items please)
